MEET DR. MESA

Dr. Francisco Mesa is originally from Colombia S.A. where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Autonoma University in the town of Manizales in 1998. Dr Mesa attended an extensive number of educational programs before and after obtaining his dental license in the State of Minnesota, in 2005, where he practiced and resided for 24 years. Dr. Mesa completed a residency program for Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin, In 2005. And completed a second residency for Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, in 2006. Dr Mesa also has a degree in Health Care Administration from Concordia University. He has furthered his knowledge in the fields of Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry and more.

Dr Mesa is very devoted to his profession. He has worked in dentistry for over 25 years and recently sold his practice in Eden Prairie Minnesota to create more time for his family and patients, without the very stressful and time-consuming rigors of practice management. He comes to Ashland to give a hand in an amazing community, and welcoming practice. Dr Mesa is involved in several study clubs and dental organizations with a large array of dental studies and discussions. He enjoys studying and learning all new techniques and methodologies in dentistry, but his best quality yet is his understanding, caring and devotion to his patients.
